Whats up Computer Geniuses,

I have a XPS with Windows 98 SE. Recently my Word application is wigging out. For example if I try to use many of the functions such as clicking "save" and "open" icons I get a message that says "Word has insufficient memory. Do you want to save this as Rescued Document 1?" I've tried to reinstall... Worked for that day, but when I rebooted, it was back to its old ways. Help!
