Optiplex XL 590 boot up process and system setup
Optiplex XL 590 was booting up o.k. Did not use the computer for 4 months. On return, booted up to WIN95, O.K.
Then stopping booting up to WIN95 unless the battery is removed and reinserted. Can either try to set time and date and boot into WIN95 or not set time and date and still boot into WIN95.
New battery installed.
WIN95 is not grabbing the time from setup. WIN95 is grabbing the date.
What am I doing wrong?
Note: when using system setup, to save configuration press which keys.....ESC for exit or ALT + B to reboot ???
Can not get into system setup with CTRL + ALT + Enter.
WIN95 runs perfectly. Floppy disk drive works o.k. CD-rom works o.k. Modem connection works o.k.
