speakers
I ordered a Dimension 8300..it came today but there were no speakers. I picked "no speaker option" and i thought that this meant that I wouldnt get any fancy speaker. Does the 8300 come with any basic speakers?

BUT, when I was looking at this link http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/dimen_8300?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~page=5&~tab=specstab it shows that a basic set of speakers should accompany the computer...I just purchased an 8300 that included speakers that I do not need. They are ADA215 Dell part number. I'll be more than happy to send thes to you for $20 plus shipping charges as I do not need them. There are also many very good speakers at places like Office Max/Depot, Fry's, CompUSA for about $70-120.
You should listen to these because the quality varies widely. I have a basic Altec Lansing system that works very well but they keep changing models every 6 months.
- Sorry if I gave the wrong answer. Every time I have ordered and selected no speakers, I got just that, no speakers. I apologize if I gave wrong info. Does seem strange though. THe wording is not very clear if you get speakers when you select no speakers...
