It is pretty good for not being overclocked yet (or at least I think it hasn't been yet). Good to see the newest nvidia drivers work :smileyvery-happy:georgiahomeboy

Those numbers are fine. Look at the video cards used. If want want HUGE numbers swap those out for some 9800 GTXs or 9800 GX2s. You could even go triple SLI. The test rig does have a great CPU, but that is about it. You want over 20K, upgrade that bad boy and OC it. The XPS 730 is basically equal to its retail competitor now. I for one am glad to see it.DELL-Chris M

georgiahomeboy,
It was built about 4 months ago. We made 10 of the same components and passed them out. At the time, we did not have the Corsair memory which is why it is using 667 ram. I have both Vista and XP. Vista on two drives in a raid. XP on another drive. The 8800GTs are quiet.

That 3DMark 2006 score seems about right, but the 2005 score is very low for that system. I'm getting alomost 21000 in 3DMark 2005 and 14770 in 2006 with my XPS 630. When I had the CPU overclocked to 3.8GHz I was getting 24800 in 2005 and 17086 in 2006. I bet my sytem would perform very close to Chris' XPS 730 in most games. Man, that XPS 730 is WAAAAAY OVERPRICED!!!!!!! I know you get the option for 3-way SLI and a newer system board, but it still isn't worth it to me.
DELL-Chris_M - have you managed to test your 730 rig with 3DMarkVantage yet? As you know I've been heavily disappointed with the DX10 performance of my 730 with 2 x ATI HD3870X2 CrossfireX enabled, so would be interested to see how your SLI configuration performs...
Just to remind you of the related threads:
XPS730 H2C + 2 x ATI HD 3870X2 CrossfireX MUST be better than this...
XPS 730, Does anyone Have a Working One?Cheers
