Hi everyone- I have had problems with my 5100 overheating.  Right now it is at 111 F.  About 2 months ago, one DIMM stopped working, I check both 256mb sticks and they were fine.  Now the power light on the front of my laptop (battery light actually) doesn't work right.  It stays off when it is plugged in, and blinks really slow when charging.  Support has told me I need to replace the motherboard, but since my warrenty is over, I can't obviously afford a $600 + repair.  I am very dissatisfied with my computer at this point, it was an excellent for the first year I had it.  I read that blowing compressed air through the fan will help with heating problems.  My question is, what can I do about my computer?  It is rediculous that a $1100 piece of equipment is so messed up after only 1 year.  Is there any fix, or something, to help solve this?
