This is a message I sent to Dell at the blog, but I'd like to post it here is well.

As Dell has been made aware of before, many Alienware M15x users, myself included, have been experiencing throttling issues with the M15x. This affects mostly the GPU, but the CPU has been throttling at times as well. Being that this is an enthusiast system, this kind of performance is unacceptable, especially since it occurs during normal gaming sessions, even when working under normal conditions. Although it's much easier to recreate using synthetic tests, I speak from experience when I say that this happens under normal gaming conditions as well. 

On behalf of every M15x user experiencing this issue, I'd like to ask for a response and solution from Dell. As you can see by reading the 140 page forum discussion over at NotebookReview.com, which has been going on since December 2nd of last year, this is still an ongoing issue (link: AW M15x Throttling Issue Investigation - Stock clocks and overclocked). Please, get in touch with the community and let us all know what is being done about this issue. We all love our computers, and want to continue to use our beautiful machines, but this issue is driving many of us to give up the M15x in favor of other computers.
