Alienware M17x R4 - Hardware failure
Hello, my laptop performed a hardware scan today and is coming up as failed due to a fatal device error. The following is from the report:
| Xeon(R) processor E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor PCI Express Root Port - 0151 | |||
| PCI Express Status Test | ||
| Test Started | 02/06/2013 4:15:35 PM | |
| Error Message: | Fatal device error detected. | 02/06/2013 4:15:36 PM |
| Test Finished: | Failed (Error code: WPE01-EOV) | 02/06/2013 4:15:39 PM |
I'm not really sure what to do. I've searched the error code and nothing is coming up, even on Google. This is too advanced for my basic knowledge of computers! Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Run the Dell diagnostics (outside of Windows) - F12 at powerup. The PC checkup you ran is well known for false positives.
