"Hi Abinesh,
Welcome to the Community.
I understand your concern with regards to the battery not working fine on XPS 15 computer
I request you to discharge the battery completely to 0% then try to charge the battery completely and check if it is able to go to beyond 90%.
If not try to update the BIOS on the computer by the link which I am sending you if it updated then try to re-flash. The process of flashing the BIOS would be download the file and run the file which you have downloaded using the link. Make sure AC adapter and battery are connected when we are flashing the BIOS.
Also you can check the battery health meter by going to power options in which it would let you know if the battery is performing normally, however this option is available if quickset is installed in the computer.

I tried it but did not work. What makes the battery indicator near the power button flash in orange and white colors?
Now I can't charge beyond 85% because I initially activated "disable battery charging" option in dell battery meter. I even deactivated the option and tried to charge the battery but can't charge beyond that point!

the power button flash in orange and white colors means that it is charging the battery on the computer.
For typical user, noticeable reduction in run time generally will be observed after 18 to 24 months. For a power user, reduction in run time generally may be experienced prior to 18 months. In this case it means that battery is reaching its end of useable life. Generally battery warranty on any XPS laptop would be one year.
Sending you the link for the battery information:

Disable battery charging means the computer not charging the battery to save your battery recharge cycles, which in turns helps in extending the life of the battery.
