you need the POST splash utility: It doesn't say it works on the E series but I know it does because I've used it.

There are 2 important things to know about it:

• The utility only creates a floppy disk, There's no other way to extract the files out of the executable. I have a USB floppy from an old D series that I use for this.
• The image you use must be in a very specific size and format in order for it work. It has to be 640x480 and 16 colors - the trick here is that you can use any 16 colors that you like. What I do is create the image in Photoshop and then open it with Paintshop. From there I can reduce the color depth to a selective 16 color palette. The finished image will always be 151 KB when you do it right.

Paintshop is the only software I've seen that has a 'reduce color depth' feature but maybe there are others out there.
