clone mode persistent

hi,

on my notebook, "clone" mode for nview is set to display on both my lcd and the analog connection, even when i have no monitor hooked up.  this causes the screen to flash a couple of time when windows starts up.  how can i get it to disable clone mode when there's no monitor?

Select the single display option in the driver properties instead of clone.

yeah i do that and it works fine.  but when i restart it goes back to clone all teh time and i'm not sure if there's a registry tweak for it because reinstalling drivers removes the effect.  btw it's 45.91 mod.
