Hi, I am the recent owner of an inspiron e1505 the specs are as follows:

Core 2 Duo t7200 at 2 ghz
2 GB RAM
120 HDD
Ati Radeon x1400 256MB


I did not upgrade my display however. I have the factory display. I have the one with native resolution 1280 * 800

I have a question. Are all lcd's now active matrix? I am satisfied with the view angle from side to side. Disappointing however, is the viewing angle up and down. Even if i just move a bit up or down, theres a change in shades. Is this normal?
