I was given an inspiron 7000. I formated the harddrive to get rid of their software. Now the computer says it only has 64 mgs of memory. I went to the BIOS. I cannot change the number.

 

I tried going to the control pnel and adding hardware to see if the computer would find the memory.

 

When I watch the boot up process it says the mamory has been changed or a file is missing.

 

Any suggestions
