java script help,pls

I visited a website today, and it didn't load as it should, so I called tech support and they told me to "restore advanced settings" in IE which helped on the XP pc's, but it did not help on this Dell Vista.

(I tried this on 3 pc's) What else do I need to know?

    I suspect you need to install the Java runtime's?

    Thanks for your reply. I was told that Java script is different than Java (Sun). Was I told correctly? When I clicked on the Java Runtime in your msg. it took me to the Java (Sun) webpage. Is this the same as Java script.? I obviously don't have a handle on this yet.

    Yeah.  You need the Java runtimes, to enable Java scripts ;)
