Keyboard Layout wrong

Hi there,
 
Currently using a lattitude CPX and have identified language setting was set to US English, I have changed this and loaded necessary cab file from Windows CD, but now the 2 has a @ above and @ has " in it's place.
 
Any suggestions, appreciated.

    What language setting is it meant to be set at?

    @Shift-2 on US English keyboard layout is @.  There is nothing wrong with your keyboard layout.
