Need help with D810 and Win98SE
Hello all,
I need to install Win98SE on my D810 on the first HD partition because of some older software do not work correct with comm under XP OS.
Installation went fine without problems and I can boot in Win98SE or XP selecting at boot menu screen.
Problem is some devices not being installed under Win98SE:
- modem
- audio
- video
- Wireless
- PCI???
- USB
Fortunately the LAN driver also works fine under Win98SE OS.
So, if anyone else have installed Win98SE on this machine or knows where/which drivers to use to get my Win98SE installation 100% working on this machine , please advise.
All info/instructions are welcome.
Thanks, Msmax

Since the D810 uses the same chipset (Intel 915PM) as the I-6000d, you'll probably experience similar problems (installing Win98SE) that we did in this thread ("click here").
If you need to have a functioning wireless card, it'll probably be easier to install a PCMCIA or Mini-PCI card with drivers that supports Win98SE. I have this cheap wireless Mini-PCI card ("click here" and "click here") installed in our I-8000, but I haven't tried it in the I-6000d, yet...
Aloha,
Rod
