Studio 1737 battery problem

I purchased my dell Studio 1737 laptop in March 2010 and now there's a problem with the battery. I tried to boot my laptop and it comes the warning "battery is not supported" and the laptop can NOT be start up. Now i have to remove the battery and can just use my laptop without it. The battery only works one year and dies now. can anyone help me to figure out what happened to it? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Gimhotel,

    Welcome to the Community. I suggest you to update your Bios, use the below link to update it. You will need to have the battery connected to the computer, while updating it.

    support.dell.com/.../download.aspx

    Thank you. I did try but it did NOT work. I run the A09 and it could NOT find the battery even the battery is connected.
