No I was using the touch pad to install. Also, when I go to control panel and click the mouse icon, I get a message about inconpatability with the control panel item. However, after clicking the "OK" the touch pad adjustment screen appears. I did not want to try to change any setting just to see if they would work. So I left things alone. The touch pad works normally.
During the install I was prompted to create a folder called "Dell updates". I did, but it was curious that it did not already exist.I would think that it would have wanted to install it over the present driver.
I kinda like to leave things alone when I don't know what I am doing. Unless you or some one else has other I ideas I will look to uninstall or delete the downloaded file from the folder I created.
