Today in our shop we have only Tape reads enabled for DR tests. We are planning to implement tape writes during DR.

There are 2 options provided by EMC solutions teams

1. Creating checkpoints for all the filesystems

2. Create a separate FS for the tape writes

What is implemented in your environment and also suggest which solution is better ?
