D1626HT Help (Once more time)

Hello,

I apologize but your answer is not an option for me and will not work.

First of all I cannot install it as a plug and play device. Second the refresh rates you posted for that monitor are the lowest not the highest. It does go to 120HZ at 800x600. I know this for a fact. I did find a d1626ht ICM file (dont ask where as I've been so many places over the last week I've gone nutso) Anyway... so there MUST be a d1626ht inf file out there somewhere if you have a icm file. Why in the world would you produce such a nice trinitron monitor and not make drivers for it?

If you cannot find the drivers for this monitor please tell me which ones would be closest to use... thats all I'm asking for now. How about the P1110 drivers? My 1626 monitor seems to running fine with these drivers. Is this going to cause a problem in the long run with my monitor?

Okay so again... basically just tell me which ones in your opinion would be the safest and closest ones to use for my 1626? (P991, P992, P1110, P1130, etc....)

    namaddict11,

There is a file called DELLMON.EXE and the .inf file for the D1626HT monitor is in this file. It does not say that it is for WinXP but, give a try to see if that will work for you. You can click below to download.

    Hello,

I just wanted to thank you for your time and patience with me. I apologize but I was very frustrated and I knew this driver existed... and you found it. Furthermore it works on my XP PRO just fine.

So in the future you users with the question about D1626HT monitors (as I see you've had many in the threads) you might want to offer them this file as another option as well.

    Thanks again!
