Dell 30 inch set up problem

Hi Guys

I'll be very happy if we could solve my problem here.
I have bought brand new 30 inch monitor and I have big problem setting it up on the right resolution.
Maybe it is a meter of my video card but I didn't find any recommended models which can be used with this display.

I'm with Radeon X800 dual link and I can't run the right resolution.
Hi Guys

Maybe the video adaptor is the problem, maybe not. If someone has the solution please share it with me.

Cheers

S-

    Hi Velinov,

It would seem the problem is caused by your outdated vidcard. Looking @ ati/amd's website the x800 has a max resolution of 2048x1536 @ 85hz.
    http://ati.amd.com/products/radeonx800/specs.html

    Your 3007fpw optimal resolution specs @ 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz.
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=222-7175

If price is an issue, I'd go with this vidcard. (or just look for any vidcard that is 2560 x 1600 compliant)

GL with your awesome monitor! I wish the 3007fpw was available when I had bought my 2005fpw!
