Here's my situation.  I'm staying over at my sister's house watching her kids and have been using her monitor (Dell E151FP) with my PC.  I woke up this morning to browse the forums at Everquest2.com and to my surprise when I move the mouse to bring the monitor back on, NO picture.  At least that's what I saw at first.  I then noticed I could see a faint image of my desktop (very very faint..almost as if the screen never turned back on).  At first I thought my new GeForce 6800 GToc had failed on me (AHHHH!!), so I hooked her computer back up (DELL Dimension 2350).  But alas, still had the same exact problem.

 

I've tried using AUTO on the front of the monitor, adjusting the brightness and contrast (I can kind of see things if I hold a flashlight to the monitor), resetting both PC's, different power outlet, and still no luck.  The power button is green, not amber FYI. 

 

Please help.  I really hope hooking my PC up to it did not damage the monitor (which I've never heard of in all my years of PC building and repair).  My only assumption is that the back light has failed somehow.
