We have several P2722HE monitors but they tend to lose ethernet connectivity occasionally. I've followed the same steps as per here for the U2722DE and got it back working fully without any more disconnects, (disabling Power Saving on the Realtek USB GbE Family adapter/driver listed in Device Manager).
My question, is there a permanent fix for this or must we apply this fix company-wide to anyone using these screens with the built-in docks?
I am having this same issue on my P2722HE monitor, but only since updating the monitor firmware to M3T102. I have tried all of the power settings suggested here, with no improvement. Is anyone else having this issue since updating the FW?
I happen to have a second Dell laptop with me, so I hooked it up to my P2722HE via the USB-C. Ethernet worked perfectly over the course of several hours... so I trust my Internet signal, the Ethernet cable, and now the P2722HE itself. All these components worked great. On my normal laptop (Dell Precision 7530) I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Realtek USB GBE drivers more than once. After reinstall it works for a while, but the Ethernet always drops off eventually. This is very frustrating. Any ideas?
