I just purchased a Dell 1901FP LCD monitor.  I have used it for about a week and it worked flawlessly.  Suddenly I am getting redish/purplish dots all over my monitor randomly.  This happens in Windows and in boot up as well.  I am using a Nvida TI4600 128mb vid card with current drivers.  I had it hooked up through the DVI cable, but switched to analog to see if the problems went away.  They did - for about 5 minutes.  Now it is just as bad as before.  It is absolutely a horrible picture now.  Dell Tech support hung on me twice trying to transfer me and were completely worthless in helping me.  I plan on calling on Monday to get a Manager who can help with this.  I've used this pc with a Samsun 17 inch LCD with no problems.

Any help would be appreciated.  Is this monitor useless or is there someway to fix this?
