Hello, my first post, and hopefully an easy one. I have a 15" flat panel that stopped working today after my electricity flickered off/on. Now the monitor powers up and the self-test shows fine, but it won't display. I tested a 17" crt in its place and it works fine. I also tested the flat panel on another system and it didn't work on that system either. So, does this mean the video cord is dead? Can these be fixed/replaced? Can a lay person do the repair or only a technician?
