U2913WM, pink screen
I have this issue where the screen turns pink and grainy. Over 2 days I had it three times. It happens for about 40 seconds then returns to normal. Could it be the monitors fault or my graphics card? I have re-installed windows 7. I have requested an rma number from amazon but I am hoping its down to my graphics card driver. I will keep on testing over the weekend. Any input from anyone will be grateful.

hi chris im connected using vga. does this sound like a monitor fault? ive reset all settings will test for a day or two. could this just be a glitch or is it a fault? thanks for your input.

Hard to say. You need to test the other monitor inputs to see if they have the same issue. What computer are you testing on? What video out ports are available other than VGA? What operating system? The desktop resolution should be 2560x1080 60Hz using VGA.

when i go into controls and goto colour setting ,input colour and change from rgb to ypbpr it goes pink screen like how i said
could it be switing between the 2 states
ive reinstalled windows 7
im using dvi-d
specs are athlon x6 2,8ghz
4gb ram geforce gtx 660
been ok since i reonstalled win 7 been a few days now and no pink screen
i really dont want to send this monitor back
but then i dont want to send it back broke in a couple of months

YPbPr should never be used with DVI-D from the computer video card? It is to be used when the monitor is connected to an external DVD player using a YPbPr cable or a VGA cable.

yes been reading up on it
cracking monitor dont wanna send it back
do you think it could be a glitch and not a fault or is it impossible to say
like i say its not happened since i reinstalled win 7 which could be something

Be sure you are using the Dell provided DVI-D DL cable.
Leave the settings like this:
Brightness / Contrast = 75
Input Source = DVI-D
Color Settings = RGB, PC, Standard
Display Settings Smart Video Enhance = OffTest the monitor for a few days.

ok done that
that smart video was bugging me when watching a movie would toggle between settings
will test for a few days
but its been good for a few days since i reinstalled win7

The monitor has five ports: DVI-D DL, DP, mDP, HDMI, VGA
What ports are available on the computer video card to test on?
Have you opened the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) -Other Settings -Factory Reset and Reset All Settings?
