Any difference between client license for Unix or Windows

Question

In Networker 7.4, I have extra client licenses that were purchased for Windows servers. I had a request to backup a Solaris server. Will a new license have to be purchased for the Unix server or will it utilize one of the available client licenses?

NW 7.4 SP2 no longer requires seperate Client Packs license. You should be able to use you extra license to backup your Windows/linixUnix clients

There is no client license for Windows or any platform. In past there used to be something called clientpak which existed for Linux, UNIX and Windows, but as of 7.3.x or 7.4.x that was abandoned. So client connection is all that matters.
