Dear Experts!

Our customer uses Networker 8.2.0 and want to backup one server via dedicated ethernet line.

(cross cable between two servers) We set up the dedicated ethernet interface between the two servers and

we set up a network backup interface and mtu size, but the backup speed isnt changed it remains the same.

Mtu size is 9000 on both side, we can ping the both hosts.We use Suse Linux and RH Linux.

We dont tune Linux network settings.Backup is flowing during backup interface i checked with tcpdump command.

Do you have any suggestions:

- Why the backup speed is not improving?

- Do you have any suggestions?
