Networker ndmp connection

I'm getting the following errors and ndmp backup was failed. here is the errors

the setup that i have is local backup - NAS storage which is NDMP server locally attached to Dell tape device and os platform is window 2003

Thanks for the screenshot. It's saying that there is no client resource for coaxm301. Can you confirm that there was a NSR client resource with that exact name?

I heard a couple more items on this:

First DNS- as mentioned, you are using a short name and that might be an issue.

Make sure you can ping and nslookup both ways.
Then the error message shows authentication. You need the client properties set in the credentials for connecting to the netapp...
