nsrjb: SYSTEM error: I/O error

In the moment, I cannot search in the database (is down )

Cu make this

nsrjb -j rd=storagenode.central.a51:SL500

and see this error message

nsrjb: SYSTEM error: I/O error

Cu has installed 7.2.2 and L500 Libarie (LTO-3 drives)

Solaris I see al fine

storagenode >mt -f /dev/rmt/0cbn status
HP Ultrium LTO 3 tape drive:
sense key(0x0)= No Additional Sense residual= 0 retries= 0
file no= 0 block no= 0

Have anyone a hint for me, what I can looking for?

Cu will see, what Tape is in the slot.

He test it with nsrjb -s servername from storage node and this work fine.

Between this both Hosts, we have no firewall.

    I talk with CU again.
What me wonder ist, that with GUI from both hosts all works fine.

Only nsrjb from Backup Server, I see the error

    nsrjb: SYSTEM error: I/O error

Can you explain what is the problem according to you? From what I see, he was executing nsrjb command from server. Instead, customer should execute nsrjb -s server from storage node.

That's normal as nsrjb from command line should be executed from box from where robotic control is. From GUI it does use another approach which can be applied to cmd too, but this is not preferred way of doing the things.
