Parallel backup to two pool - question: what and how know this ?

I want to reorganize the actual backup-policy our company: now, first run the backup and then run the media-clone.
With new 7.4 Networker Server/Client under Tru64 how i made parallel two-way backup to two media-pool under: mssql, ms-exchange, Oracle 9i BSM and file-backups (Linux, Tru64 Unix and Windows) ?

For file servers you may have two groups (one for each pool) with the same client and run them at the same time, for modules I'm almost sure that you can't have two backups running at the same time.

But why do you want to have two backups instead of a backup and a clone? You'll have more usage of client resources and no gain at all, I think it's a bad idea.

Running two groups with same clients in them is bad idea, besides hogging the server resorces it's the practice that can be easily avoided by cloning the primary backups.

Two groups simultaneously for same data could be dangerous. IT will need too much resources from the client.

Why do you want to do this?

    What's wrong with old policy?
