staging policy vs. media pools roules
Hi,
I have 2 adv_files devices and 2 media pools Disk and Disk2.
There are 2 groups, DEFAULT and TEST.
Media pool DISK accept data from DEFAULT group
Media pool DISK2 accept data from TEST group
There is a staging policy DISK2-1 telling the data will have to migrate from device DISK2 to media pool DISK at HI%=30. The data from device DISK2 contains data from group TEST, data that are not allow to be stored on media pool DISK which accept data only from group DEFAULT ... anyway the staging take place and after completion we have in media pool DISK data from group TEST .... is something that I'm missing here ... staging rules take precedense over media pool rules ?
