https on 1052P switch

Hello all,

I have attempted a few times to enable https on our X1052P switches.  I have logged into the CLI and did everything I saw posted to do.  I did the ip https certificate number after doing the crypto certificate generate stuff.  So I am not sure what I am doing wrong.  I am thinking I am not importing the certificate right.  Anyone ever do this before?

Thanks a lot,

Mike

    Firmware is 3.0.0.64

I generated the cert (At least I thought I did) using the CLI command crypto certificate command.

    Was that wrong?

I got a similar message but not the exact.  As a test I installed the certificate in the store on my PC and it does come up in IE as https now.  Not in Firefox.  Normally we dont use IE.  We have a bunch of these switches so to have to go to every pc manually and install the certificate is not what I'd like to do.

I never touched anything inside the switch GUI.  Mine looked just like what you posted.

    Thanks,

    Mike
