Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

Hi I have been having serious trouble with my Nic Card, after Installing Microsoft Windows Vista Beta Release, it stop working, then i changed back my Operating System to Windows XP, i formatted my laptop ( Inspiron E1405) and installed all the Dirvers back. Everyhting works fine except for the Nic Card which apparently is disconnect, this is a list of things i have alredy done: 1. Installed and Uninstalled all the possible Drivers for the Nic Card (Broadcom 440x) 2.Troubleshoot the Device. 3. Used the BACS (Broadcom Advanced Control Suite 2 did all the Testing on all the Networking Devices on my computer, all of the appear even the Nic Card (Broadcom 440x) but with an RED X on top of it, run the Diagnostics and the device passed the test, and the led light blinks. 4. Went to the BIOS Menu and Activate & Deactivate the Nic Card. 5. Run IPCONFIG and the i get the following Message: Ethernet Adapter Broadcom 440x Media Disconnected. 6 Changed my Network Cable 3 Times, all of them work fine with others computers 7. Deleted Winsock, Winsock 2 from the Registry Editor. (regedit) Now i have noticed that on the Dell Quickset Menu, before i installed the Windows Vista i had an option were the Nic Card turned off by itself when the computer run on batteries, now after i formatted my computer i dont get that option on the Dell Quickset i have downloaded it several times from the Dell Website, still dont get that option. I really dont know what to do now, i have run out of options, i would deeply appreciate any help to fix this problem Thanks
