I've been using google chrome since it came in to play....But yesterday, I got some error which says "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application."
I searched for the answer on net but it fixes the problem if u've installe Symentec on your computer but I've McAfee on my computer.....I would really appricates your help if you suggest me the answer.
I have the same exact problem. It's been working flawlessly until a few days ago when I also got the 0xc0000005 message. I had a few other things happen to my computer so I believed it to be the work of a virus (since my other browsers weren't working either). I then proceeded to re-install Windows, and upon downloading Chrome again am still getting the same message. Meanwhile, everything else is working fine. I also don't have Symantec on my computer and have disabled McAfee as well.
Strange that the problem suddenly occurred at the same time in both our cases.
