I would like to network 2 computers in my home. The main computer is a Dell 860 running Windows 98, and the second computer is a Dell 4600 running Windows XP. The high speed internet comes into the 860 and I have an RJ45 ethernet cable run to the 4600, and, there is no problem getting the internet signal to either computer. What I would like to do is share files and printers from either computer. There are lots of instructions to set up this network with XP to XP, however, I could not find any instructions to network between XP and 98. Can this be done?
