pc card slot problem

A couple of days ago I bought a PCMIA wireless card (802.11g) for my Inspirion 1100. The first day that I used it everything was fine, and I could connect to my network and surf the web. A couple of days later I inserted the card into my Inspirion and after a few minutes of online time, it disconnected from the network. In order for me to re-connect to the network, I had to re-insert the card into the PCMIA card slot. I don't think inflicted any damage the PC card slot in any way, except for the routen cleaning with the dust remover. I have also tried the card on another computer, and it seems to run smoothly; however, it simply disconnects when used in my Inspirion. Can somebody please help me?

You are broadcasting your SSID and are there any other wireless networks around you using the same channel as yourself?

Hmm...What do you mean, "you are broadcasting your SSID"? And there are other wireless networks in the same area, but I am not sure if they are using the same channel. What should I do?

change the channel on the router... go in the options and look for the channel... change it to 3 or 9 or something odd like that...
