Turning off Japanese text

Hello.  I had a friend visit from Japan.  He altered with my language options in Internet Explorer somehow and when I browse the Internet some of the content that I am reading has both english and japanese text.  How can I remove this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you posted in the wrong forum, but anyway, try this.

From Internet Explorer, Tools > Internet Options.  Under General tab, click [Languages] button and remove Japanese entry if present.

Are you also using Windows XP?  Did your friend enable its East Asian Languages support?  If so, try remove it.

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options.  Click Languages tab and untick Install files for East Asian languages.
