usb wireless compatability
I have an old dell desktop with windows xp
I am trying to hook up to a wireless network, my linksys works just fine to hook up to wireless networks in my area but.....
I NEED a usb wireless adapter that will work in my dell and read a wireless router mad by apple - Airport!
does anyone know of an adapter for a dell that reads airport routers?
I currently have a Linksys compact wireless-G usb adapter and it does not see the airportbase. But it does see a neighbor's wireless router and I am able to use internet through that router - so I know it works only not for my router.
do you know of other brands that will work for sure? or should I just purchase a couple different ones and try them out?

Any USB wireless network adapter should work. (The U stands for universal)
