I am trying to put 3 computers on a wireless system.   I need to buy an ethernet card for my computer.  I have a Dimension XPS T600r running on Win98Se.

How do I know what bit I should buy for the card-16, 32 or 128?

Where in the tower do I put it?  Can I put it in any available slot?

I purchased the Linksys  wireless-G with speedboost.  Am I wasting money with the speedboost?  I thought it was for faster internet , but I noe I read that it is really only helpful for transferring files from one computer to another which we really won't be doing.  Is that correct?
