Optiplex 3020 Mt GPU not working! HELP
i have a 3020 Mt with a r5 340 gpu installed I get hdmi out and display works also is a dell card from different pc.
I have a gigabyte Gt 1030 2gb ocgpu when I install it there's fans spinning and acts like it's working but when hdmi is plugged into it no display comes on. I know it's just pcie power no other Pwr required...
Maybe bios settings need to be changed which I haven't done much of??? Also I have no vga to try onboard video while gpu is installed, I'm stuck installing r5 340 to get display and see bios being I only have my hdmi cable to my small hdtv to work with.
Any help or bios instructions for help would be so appreciated,
I will be at work all day going insane wondering what's going on with this issue and when I'm off work I can't wait to try and fix this issue.

Ok will try that and then try gt1030 in different pc to check if it's good, which will b a task cuz I need to throw something together with my spare parts lol.
I read something about the bios setting UEFI being an issue if not at correct setting as far as dells recognizing non dell cards but not sure I'll b back to update wen I learn more

that may refer to secure boot in UEFI.
you can try set 3020 bios to legacy bootgo to “Advanced Boot Options” in bios
“Enable Legacy Option ROMs”, Enabled (Default)
Non DELL CARDS will require secure boot off in bios.

you should not need to change anything in bios to use this card. I would load default bios setting using the working R5 340 card, then swap to gt1030 to try again. If still no video, it can be assumed this gt1030 is bad, unless you can test it in another desktop pc to verify it works.
