Optiplex 5090 MFF ESXI 7
Wondering if anybody has tried getting an ESXI homelab running on a bare metal Optiplex 5090 MFF.
Have gotten ESXI booting from a USB (Not ideal) had to build a custom ISO with community NIC drivers.
My blocker atm is that I cannot get ESXI to recognize the internal NVME SSD. Have tried the SK Hynix 256GB that it shipped with and tried swapping it out for Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB. Both are recognized by the BIOS.

Just in case anyone else runs in to this issue....
I installed a "Crucial P1 1 TB CT1000P1SSD8" and a "Western Digital 2 TB SATA 2.5 Hard Drive"
Neither were getting detected by ESXI and I was about to give up and attempt to build ESXI on top of Ubuntu/KVM..... it was the ubuntu install that actually gave me the hint it told me I needed to turn off RST
I turned off Intel RST in the bios, tried the ESXI install again and BOOM all the storage showed up, I now have 3TB
