How to Bypass Lifecycle Controller forcing function OS Deployment?
How does one bypass the Lifecycle Controller stuck in the mode where the main menu only features option "OS Deployment" ? All of the other functions are hidden away/disabled.
Some magical key sequence?
(For example, what if one wants to (or is required to) upload/update microcode firmware before installing their OS Image)

Disabling LCC is an interesting proposal:
I want to use the LCC, but I cannot access any of the other functions of LCC until (apparently?) I must first complete an OS install with the help/supervision of the LLC.
What logic is it (The LCC firmware) using to determine whether to show all functions, or just "OS Deployment" ?

Merifully, all the functions that were in the LCC GUI previously, are now available in the iDRAC10 Web GUI, and hopefully LCC GUI will be sunset (most of the functionality has moved to the "UTILITIES" menu in the BIOS/SETUP)

On newer Dell PowerEdge servers, Lifecycle Controller (F10) now only shows Deploy OS, and firmware update options are no longer available.
Previously, I used SUU to perform a single, consolidated firmware update (iDRAC, BIOS, RAID, NIC, etc.) in one run.
For those managing offline environments (no Internet access), is there currently any supported way to perform a one-time aggregated firmware update, or has Dell fully moved to iDRAC + individual firmware updates / DRM workflow only?
Appreciate any best practices or real-world experience. Thanks!

If you still want this function, Cisco UCS platforms still offer a single bootable ISO called the Cisco Host Upgrade Utility (Cisco HUU). Combined with Cisco Intersight (Cloud management) or Cisco UCS Manager on the Fabric Interconnect (Nexus) switches, you'll be right at home.
Dell/EMC used to have something like that, but it was based on a 15 year old GNU/Linux kernel and hasn't been updated for years. There is a Java-based GUI for syncing the database. Its bad....really bad.

You can try to reset iDRAC, redeploy iDRAC firmware or even disable/enable LCC from BIOS for this issue.
What is your server model also? We can find out with your service tag as well.
