PCIe Training Error: Slot 1 - Intel Pro/1000

Hello Community...

I have a Dell T620.  Inserted a Intel PRO/1000 Quad Port Intel Card in PCIe Slot 1, I made sure the card was inserted properly. Everytime I try to boot the server I get a:

PCIe Training Error:  Slot 1

System halted!

I also moved the nic card to PCIe Slot 6, received the same error.  Any ideas folks....

Thanks in advance...

Is it possible to try the intel card in another system, or perhaps another card in the T620?
You could also try updating the T620 bios and the idrac to the latest versions.

if the Intel card works in another system, try updating the fw while it is in the other system, then bring it back to the T620 (after updating the bios and idrac on the T620)

    JamieStar1966,

While I do see some quadport 1gb Intel cards for the T620, I would need to the specific part number to verify it's compatibility. If this is the Intel Pro/1000 QP card part # H092P, then it wouldn't be compatible as it is intended to be used on 11th generation servers, and not the 12th. Let me know what you see.
