PE 2450 Thermal Output

Hello,

I've read through all the manuals looking for the physical specifications about the Power Edge 2450. and I cannot find any reference to thermal output. Does Dell use different terminology for this spec?

Does anyone know where i can find it? or can you pass the value along here?

Thanks in advance!

    Check out the following link:

Choose the Technical Specifications link which will pull up the Appendix page and I believe you will find what you are looking for there.

    I already looked there.

It has a Range of temperatures, but doesn't talk about the amount of heat the server throws off during operation.

this value should be in BTU's / hr.

The only thing I can offer is the the amount of heat it throws off will go up the harder the system is worked. What you maybe could do is find a laser thermometer and find its ambient temp. From that you may be able to figure out BTUs from there.
