PE2650 front display

Have a PE2650 that is running fine but the front display panel is amber with no messge scrolling by anymore.  On the right side of the display I can see a couple of dots or pixels flashing. Does this sound like a bad display or something else?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Probably a bad display, but could be the ESM (which populates the screen) is not working properly.  If it looks like a "broken" display, that is probably the problem.  Try reseating the cable (both ends) that goes from the display panel to the motherboard/backplane.

    Hi Rich

Yes, most likely a bad LCD display.

As theflash1932 suggested, please try to reseat the control panel cable.

Here's the link for the user manual, please look under Control Panel:-
