Ok, thanks for clarifying. I am not certain that they would work. They may be listing that they have for those systems, but need to clarify which system upon ordering, I am not sure though.

I've got an old 2900 and just bought a second hand r610 and saw that the 610 had the ISCSI port with nothing in it. So, I can tell you now, without a doubt that the TOE 2 key will not work in the ISCSI key port. There are three indications that caused concern.
1. POST reports the key as invalid
2. The console display of the server reports disk 0 error.
3. When editing the perc raid configuration to check on #2, the name and size fields populated with outlandish values and cannot be changed.
Removing the key caused all 3 symptoms to disappear.
What in the world is in that TOE key?

I can't say for certain, but let me try to clarify things though.
I am assuming you are referring to the iSCSI 2 key, and not the one labeled TOE. If it is the key labeled TOE then it will not work, as the key is based on LOM TOE, which isn't on the R710. Now if you are referring to the iSCSI key, then there may be a slight chance of it working in the R710, but I don't have high hopes. The reason being is that the 2950 iSCSI is dual port, whereas the R710 iSCSI is 4 port. So using the dual port key from the 2950 "may" work in the R710, the R710's 4 port key would NOT work in the 2950. This isn't anything we have conceived of testing, so we wouldn't be certain if it would work, primarily due to the fact the chipsets aren't the same across servers.
