ScaleIO NODE system put on SSD or SAS HDD

I saw the ScaleIO NODE spec sheet, it contain SSD and SAS HDD spec and I would like to know ScaleIO system where is installed ? SSD or SAS HDD?

Hi, there is a 32 GB SATA DOM device that's intended to be used for OS and ScaleIO software install.

If using SATADOM for ScaleIO system, Isn't it will slowly when deploy SDS procedure ? Or influence performance ?

It should not have any effect on the performance as the ScaleIO sw has a very small overhead.

The storage performance comes from the disk and ssd devices.
