Can VS160 drive read & write VS80 tapes

I have a PowerVault 112T with 2 VS80 tape drives. I am thinking about upgrading one drive to a VS160 and would like to know if it can read & write to the VS80 tapes i have? Russ

    Read - yes, Write - no.  It is read compatible.
