Hi, as I know ME5 RAID controller has a battery backup unit and this is for to provide power for cache memory to avoid power failure.(might be between 48-72hours) I'm not sure how many hours it last but as soon as possible need to restore power to avoid data loss. I couldn't find a sheet include precise numbers to share with you.
