You will need to get a dell card from a Precision 7750.  The GPU shape changed from the 7740.

Precision 7710/7720 = MXM a or b

Precision 7730/7740 = proprietary DGFF card

Precision 7750 = proprietary DGFF card (will probably be the same shape/size on the 7760 when it comes out)

Dell doesn't sell them as an after market part? I don't really need one. the onboard Intel has always done the job for me no matter what I do. But, I just wanted the option down the road to do this.

Don't worry, there are always Dell laptop GPUs for sale on ebay.  You can even find a few for the 7750 already.

When you are ready, it will be pretty easy to acquire one.

What does the GPU look like for a new Dell 7750? Do you now where I can find a pic?

Actually, I just searched ebay and couldn't find any. I'm sure I could buy one from Dell but it will cost a fortune.

To upgrade to a Nvidia RTX GPU on your Precision 7750 you will need the following:

DGFF GPU for the 7750 (the only one I can find on ebay right now is the RTX 5000)

DGFF Power cable (search DGFF 7750)

3x DGFF Graphics Cable  (search DGFF 7750)

Nvidia Heatsink and fan assembly ?(DPN : FRNMW)?

So, this is not the Quadro series that they offered when I had the system built? This will fit the form factor for new 7750? For a laptop? They are extremely expensive.

Do you happen to know of a video with gpu install, as well as screw size for the 3 dgff connectors. I have purchased a motherboard for a 7750 with the i9 soldered on and was hoping to get a 7750 with an i5 and just do the upgrade myself as well as purchase an rtx 5000. Do they not come with a gpu heatsink and fan installed even without a  dedicated gpu installed? Seems weird they would do this and leave one of the fan slots vacant.
